probablyasocialecologist:

He touched many lives, all right. One of the wealthiest men in the world, he not only had money for “brilliant doctors” and “state-of-the-art medications”, at the same time he spent unspeakable sums to try to defund the Affordable Care Act to deprive average Americans of access to basic health care.

He funded the climate denial movement, fought federal regulations on just about everything, and his massive campaign contributions were instrumental in pushing the Republican party to the right.

He was a rapacious and cruel man. Unfortunately, his legacy will continue, because his brother Charles is still alive.
