Redesign of Mississippi
Top comment: First thing’s first, I elongated it, so as to further the flag from the first national flag of the CSA. Next, I discarded of the Conferate battle flag. Rather than put something in the canton, which would , again, harkon back to the CSA too much, I opted to put the main symbol in the center of the flag. I chose to use a star, symbolizing Mississippi’s loyalty to America. The star is red, symbolizing all of the blood shed and pain caused in and by that state. The golden outline extending from the red star represents a new beginning, and a brighter future. Even though the state has done awful things, it will regrow into something beaitiful.
