Costume for The Chinese Conjurer in Léonide Massine’s ballet Parade designed by Pablo Picasso, for the Diaghilev Ballet in 1917. This costume survived only because the last dancer to wear it, Leon Woizikowski, buried it in a trunk in his native Poland as WWII broke out.
