Tupolev ANT-20 Maksim Gorki was a Soviet eight-engine aircraft,
the largest in the world during the 1930s. Its wingspan was similar to
that of a modern Boeing 747
Tupolev TB-3 heavy bomber aircraft which was deployed by the Soviet Air Force in the 1930s and during World War II.
The Douglas XB-19 was the largest bomber aircraft built for the
United States Army Air Forces until 1946. It was originally given the
designation XBLR-2.
