c.1860~1870 Second French EmpireThe French Imperial Guard was reformed in 1854 under Napoléon III and functioned in much the same its predecessor had, reaching the side of a military corps in the 1860′s. It would later become the 128th Regiment of the Line
until 2000 when it was disbanded.
