For first flying in 1946, these were way ahead of their times.
Flaperons and no rudder.  The pilot would likely be “laser focused” while trying to control this thing.  Probably real fun, with propeller vibration.

While having a vacuum horizon gyro, as was typical then, the panel, to the left of the horizon, incorporated one of the very first electric directional gyros
ever built.
