Weijman’s Homemade 400cc 1954

This homemade three-wheeler was built by Jo Weijman from
Haarlem, Holland. It was powered by a 400cc Ilo engine from a prewar
Tempo. Weijman was employed by a Ford dealer in Amsterdam, so he used
mainly Ford parts. The car was not very stable and moreover Weijman had
no drivers licence. Soon he sold the car (plate XG-81-18) for a
motorcycle and sewing machine. Note: The steering wheel was really
striking navy blue.

Colorized black & white photo found in Jan de Lange’s book “Dwergauto’s”.
